Estoc has my favourite strong attack in the game, is reasonably powerful, quite quick, is quite long, and has all the utility that the thrusting swords have. Balder side sword is probably slightly better, but I think the estoc is more fun and the blocking attack can really help in a bind. To me they're about even.

If I enchanted a +15 dark sword/+15 estoc would it out weigh the elemental version? The normal attacks would be much stronger on a buffed +15 estoc. The crit damage would be weaker. Strange but true. why, exactly, would the BSS do notably less crit damage? I was specifically talking about the estoc which has a massive crit multiplier.
